Service Agreement

By booking a service with VIC B Landscaping, the client agrees to the following Terms of Service. These terms apply to all landscaping, gardening, soft washing, and gutter cleaning services provided by our company.

Estimates and Quotes

  • All estimates are based on the information provided by the client
  • Prices may change if the scope of work, property size, or condition differs from what was described
  • Clients will be notified of any price changes before additional work begins

Scheduling and Access

  • Clients are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the property on the scheduled service date
  • Delays caused by locked gates, pets, vehicles, or unsafe conditions may result in rescheduling fees
  • For outdoor services, clients are not required to be home, but access must be arranged ahead of time

Weather and Safety

  • Services may be delayed or rescheduled due to unsafe weather conditions (lightning, heavy rain, snow, or strong winds)
  • Worker safety always comes first. The client will be contacted to reschedule at the earliest available time
  • We are not responsible for delays or damage caused by weather-related issues

Property Condition and Liability

  • VIC B Landscaping is not responsible for pre-existing damage, pest infestations, weak structures, or poor materials
  • The client agrees to disclose any known issues such as fragile gutters, leaking pipes, or unstable ground
  • We take great care during all services but are not liable for damage caused by wear, age, or pre-existing conditions

Payments

  • Full payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing
  • Accepted payment methods: e-transfer, credit/debit, cash, or invoice (for approved clients)
  • Late payments may be subject to a 5% monthly interest fee
  • Returned payments or chargebacks will result in suspension of future services until the balance is cleared

Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a scheduled service may result in a $50 cancellation fee
  • Clients must provide at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule without penalty
  • We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel services due to unsafe working conditions or weather

Guarantees and Service Limitations

We stand by the quality of our work and aim for complete customer satisfaction.

However, natural factors (weather, soil quality, drainage, plant disease, etc.) are outside our control and not covered by warranty.

For soft washing and gutter services, results may vary depending on material condition and buildup level.

Photos and Documentation

  • Before-and-after photos may be taken for quality assurance and insurance purposes
  • No identifying information will be shared publicly without permission
  • Photos may also be used for marketing unless the client requests otherwise

Liability and Indemnification

The client agrees to release VIC B Landscaping, its employees, and contractors from all claims, damages, or losses related to the performance of services, except in cases of proven negligence.

The client assumes responsibility for securing pets, vehicles, and valuables during service.

Privacy and Communication

Client information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By booking a service, clients consent to receiving service-related calls, texts, or emails.

Communication preferences can be updated at any time.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes will be handled in accordance with local jurisdiction.

Acceptance of Terms

By hiring VIC B Landscaping, requesting a quote, or receiving a service, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service.
